Loeser Doubles Twice, Then Busts

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Manig Loeser thought he was on pace for a great start to his day despite starting with just 10,300 in chips, but what looked promising all came crashing down just as quickly.

He doubled up once before he earned a second double up shortly thereafter against Daryl Hussey. On his double against Hussey, Loeser was all in with the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} against the {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for 19,400. The board ran out {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, and Loeser's pair of eights held.

On the next hand, Loeser was all in with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, and he was again against Hussey, who had the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Loeser shrugged when the flop came {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} because he picked up a favorable flush draw, and he hit it with the {J-Diamonds} turn. But, the dealer completed the board with the {9-Clubs} to give Hussey a full house and send Loeser to the rail.
