After the player in the hijack seat opened with a raise to 1,000, Ronnie Bardah reraised on the button to 2,850 with about 31,000 behind. The player in the small blind reraised to 7,700, and action folded back to Bardah. He took some time, then folded, and his opponent scooped the pot.
"Joe sat down and it was as if the cameras brought out the action," Marc Convey joked about the crazy action that transpired after Australian Poker Hall of Fame member Joe Hachem sat down at his table.
Hachem, who didn't get involved in the action himself is being followed around for a documentary, witnessed the following as Tobias Reinkemeier doubled up, and Convey sent two players to the rail.
A player raised to 1,000, followed by a three-bet to 2,700 and a third player who moved all in for 17,000. Reinkemeier called all in for 5,700, and then it was Convey who shoved over the top for 27,000.
The other players involved folded, and Reinekmeier had the best of it with . Convey's hand was second best, and remained that, as the other player held .
"I profited a little bit," Convey said, "And on the next hand there was a lot of action again."
A player raised to 900 and Convey called with on the button, enticing the small blind to call as well. The flop brought out with two diamonds, and Convey said, "After some raising we got it all in."
Convey had flopped a straight against the two pair of his opponent with , and Convey received the remaining 19,000 chips of his opponent after the turn and river brought blanks.
Kevin O'Donnell checked the flop, and Oliver Speidel bet 1,300. O'Donnell called, and the turn was the . O'Donnell checked, Speidel bet 3,000, and O'Donnell called.
The river was the , and both players checked.
Speidel showed the , but it was O'Donnell's that won him the pot.
It's been a good day for Pete Matusik so far, as he just knocked out another player to get up to 130,000 chips. The player in question moved all in under the gun for 5,575 and Matusik called from the hijack after which the other players all folded.

In the last three-bet pot before the dinner break, Brent Roberts and Michael Weiss were in action on the flop. Roberts checked, Weiss bet 2,000, and Roberts called.
The turn was the , and Roberts checked again. Weiss bet 4,000, and Roberts called.
The river was the , and Roberts checked one last time, this time with a straight on the board. Weiss moved all in for a little over 10,000, and Roberts quickly called.
Both players had flopped a set, with Weiss holding the and Roberts the , but the board ran out with a straight on the board and the two chopped it up.
