Hands #22-25: Cautious Play

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Hand #22: David Peters raised to 11,000 from under the gun and was called by Fedor Holz in the hijack as well as Sam Trickett in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Peters threw out a continuation bet totalling 17,000 after Trickett checked. Holz didn't stick around mucking his hand and was followed quickly by Trickett to see Peters take down the pot.

Hand #23: David Peters received the first walk of this final table as the action folded around to him in the big blind.

Hand #24: Steffen Sontheimer opened to 11,000 from under the gun and was called by Fedor Holz in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Holz check-called a continuation bet totalling 8,000 from Sontheimer.

Both players then checked the {k-Clubs} on the turn as well as the {7-Hearts} on the river.

Sontheimer showed {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of kings but it would be Holz who took down the pot with {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a straight.

Hand #25: Sam Trickett raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and found a call from Steffen Sontheimer in the big blind.

Both players then checked down the board of {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Trickett tabled {a-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a pair of jacks with an ace-kicker but would lose the hand to Sontheimer who showed {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for two pair.
