Young Leads the Field; Christner Doubles

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The lengthy battle with a below-average stack of Jack Sinclair has come to an end. The Brit eventually got it in out of the blinds for around 57,000 with the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and table big stack Rory Young looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. After the flop of {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Sinclair needed a deuce or running cards to avoid elimination, but the {Q-Hearts} turn and {6-Diamonds} river were both blanks.

Sam Higgs had Christian Christner all in and at risk for 33,500, but the German had little to fear with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Higgs only had {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and there was no miracle upset on the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Spades}{A-Hearts} to keep Christner in the running.
