Shapiro Sends Pu Out With Cowboys
Level 18
: 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jaxon Byrne limped from under the gun and just behind him, Peter Shapiro made it 50,000 to go. Jiang Pu announced he was all in for 270,000 from the cutoff, which got a tank fold from Byrne and a "I'm not good enough to fold this," from Shapiro, who tossed in a chip to indicate a call.
Jiang Pu: A♦K♦
Peter Shapiro: K♣K♠
It was a clash between two premium hands, but the 7♣3♥7♥9♠2♠ runout kept Shaprio's Cowboys best to eliminate Pu just before the break.
