Chester Swords Eliminated in 2nd Place ($105,650 AUD)
Level 34
: 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
After jousting back and forth with preflop raises and shoves, Gening Dai moved all in on the button and Chester Swords looked down at his hole cards and promptly committed his last 3,200,000 into the middle to put himself at risk.
Chester Swords: 2♠2♥
Gening Dai: K♣8♦
Swords took a stand with his deuces and was happy to find himself flipping against Dai's overs.
The A♥5♦K♥ flop immediately paired Dai's king, however, to leave Swords drawing to two immediate outs.
The 4♠ turn gave Swords a few extra outs a wheel, but the 4♦ river bricked out — leaving Dai best with kings-up and putting an end to the tournament.
