After a grueling 15-hour day, Gening Dai overcame a 912-entry field and defeated Chester Swords head-up to claim the $174,495 AUD and his first-ever live poker title.
The 25-year-old University student said the victory is by far his biggest to date and marked a significant shot take for him to play in a $1,500 buy-in event, proving sometimes it pays to take risks.
