Yu Doesn't Back Down

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Shenglan Yu raised to 40,000 from the small blind and was called by Banipal Babana in the big blind.

Yu continued for 40,000 on the 8Q4 flop and Babana responded with a raise to 95,000.

Undeterred, Yu quickly announced he was all in for 345,000, which got a fold from Babana after a lenthy tank.

At other tables, Kitty Kuo and Corey Kempson were eliminated.

Li Doubles Through Amiri

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Aaron Li opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 105,000 by Alex Lynskey on the button. Ehsan Amiri then cold four-bet to 320,000 from the small blind and Li moved all in for about 440,000 total.

Lynskey got out of the way and Amiri called for a showdown between himself and Li.

Yokosawa Takes Tan's Chips

Heads-up on a flop of 634 with a large pot already in the middle, Win Tan shoved from the big blind for approximately 600,000 and was quickly called by Masato Yokosawa from under the gun with a covering stack.

Yokosawa held the lead with his tens, but would need to fade a lot of outs against Tan's flush draw and overcard.

The J9 turn and river bricked out for Tan, however, and he was forced to surrender his stack over to Yokosawa.

Kuo Has Kicker Problems

Heads up on a board of 6QA2, Andy Lee bet 45,000 from the big blind and Kitty Kuo called from the cutoff.

The K completed the board and Lee made another wager for 65,000. Kuo didn't take long to look Lee up and Lee tabled A10 for a pair of aces.

Kuo sent her hand into the muck and said, "I had an ace too, but kicker..."

Lee has more than doubled his stack since the start of play and now holds approximately 2,150,000.
