Burns Pays Antar Off to Fall to the Short Stack
Level 30
: Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 100,000 ante
Kahle Burns raised to 2,000,000 on the button and Joseph Antar called in the big blind.
Antar checked to Burns, who continued for 1,200,000 on the 8♥Q♠K♣ flop. Antar then check-raised to 3,600,000 and Burns called.
Both players checked on the 6♣ turn, but Antar bombed 11,200,000 into the middle after the 4♠ completed the board.
Burns went deep into the tank, but eventually decided to look Antar up and Antar showed 8♣4♣ for two pair. Burns sent his K♥7♣ for top pair into the muck and Antar collected the massive pot.
