Actually the decision was to 'monitor the rounds' but not actually go round for round, so now the action is hand for hand or thereabouts.

With 48 players remaining (8 each at 6 tables) the tournament has gone to Round for Round. Eight hands will be dealt at each table and then we shall see if we are in the money or not. If not, another eight hands will be dealt.

A quick look showed 4 short stacks (under 10,000) one round cost the player 4,000 in chips.

Vera lays down Kings

Vera reraises after the player on her right makes it $4000 before the flop. Everybody folds and he immediately moves all in. Vera thinks for 3 - 4 minutes and folds two black kings face up on the table. Proving there are still some gentleman left in Poker, she is shown the {A-Hearts}

and is once again content she made the right decision.
