Aces again for Gary Benson!

Gary Benson gets {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} raises in early position. Benson makes it 2200 and after contemplating his decision with pocket queens he moves all in. Benson laughs in disbelief and turns over his cards. And with the flop reading {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{K-Clubs} it was all but over for the queens. The turn and the river were both blanks {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Adam Geyer still going strong!

Adam Geyer, 2nd in yesterday's $1100 Omaha Hi-Lo tournament which finished at 6am this morning, has not left Crown Casino and is straight back in the action on the poker tables. With the average stack at 7733, he has 14k in chips.

1st gets $148,480!

With the prizepool at $464,000, the prize structure has just been released and first prize is a massive $148480 with second at $86160 and third at $51040. The top 18 places get paid today.

Sick beat!

3-way all-in preflop and we see {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}, {4-Spades} {5-Spades} and Nick "You Can't Stop This" Katapas's {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} (Nick had close to 9000 in chips towards the end of the rebuy period but was now left with 2200). The percentages were 38.8%, 34.81% and 25.51% respectively. Flop comes down {10-Clubs} {A-Spades} {3-Clubs} and the odds become 59.91%, 22.7% and 16.17%. The turn is a {7-Hearts} and the {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} is now a massive 71.43% favourite to win! The river is a {2-Hearts} and the 19% underdog hits a 3-outer for the straight! He triples up and in the process stops Nick "You Can't Stop This" Katapas!

Peter Smyth knocked out!

Button is on seat 6 and 3rd UTG raises to 500. Peter Smyth next to him moves all-in for 1675. The button calls and so does the initial raiser, who later said he wasn't going to call but because the button called, he got odds to.

Flop comes down {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} and it's checked. Turn is a {7-Hearts}, the initial raiser bets 600 and the button calls. River is a {4-Diamonds}, initial raiser bets 1500 and the button reluctantly mucks showing {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. Initial raiser turns over the nuts with {K-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} and Peter shows his {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} before leaving the table and today's tournament!

Benson Wreaking Havoc as Lecich stays alive

On the very next hand after crippling Kenna James, Benson picks up{A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} in late position. Two seats behind him another player has {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and starts the betting with a $450 raise. Siiting ahead of him is Tino Lecich who has {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and he makes it $1450. Benson moves all in and the initial raiser instant gets the rest of his chips in the pot. After getting the clock called on him Tino makes a great lay down and stays alive.
