Marcus flopped two pair and was ahead. The turn was the {2-Spades}

and the river was the {9-Hearts}

. Marcus' hand held up and he doubled through Alexander. After that hand, Van Marcus increased his stack to over 80,000, while Alexander slipped to 60,000.

"What a luckbox," exclaimed Alexander as he walked away from the table in utter disgust.

"You're a f----g genius," Alexander said sarcastically when he returned to the table.

"That's right," quipped Van Marcus. "I am a genius. A genius with your chips."
