Hachem went into the tank and stared his opponent down. The player sat motionless and didn't make a move while Hachem deliberated a call. Hachem leaned back in his chair and shuffled his chips. He tried to get a read on his opponent. He finally mucked.

Larry Karambis, 3rd place finisher in Event #5 of this year's Aussie Millions, was just eliminated from the main event by Team PokerNews Player Andrew Makary.

Karambis had completed the bet from the small blind and Makary checked his option in the big. The flop came {7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Karambis led out with a 1,200 bet. Makary then put in a raise, making it 5,000 to go and Karambis moved all in over the top of the bet for a total of 16,000.

Makary made the call and tabled {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for two pair; Karambis flipped over {K-Spades}{4-Clubs} for top pair. The turn and river filled out {2-Diamonds}, {A-Diamonds} and Makary's two pair held up to eliminate Karambis from the tournament.
