On a flop of Q-5-5 Masaaki Kagawa bet 1,000 and Roy Winston made the call. The turn brought a deuce and Kagawa fired another 3,000 and Winston thought for a moment before folding a queen face up!

We've seen many heads up battles over the last few days settled with worse than top pair. Winston is certainly playing snugly and waiting for the right moment to strike in this battle with Kagawa!

Jeff Garza lead with a 1,000 bet and Xuan Nguyen raised it to 4,000. Garza announced that he was all in and Nguyen made the call.

Garza had flopped the nut straight and had his opponent drawing to a miracle. The turn and river blanked out to eliminate Nguyen from the tournament for AU$40,000 in prize money.

Kagawa Leads; Winston Folds Kings

Masaaki Kagawa raised it up to 600 and Roy Winston re-popped it making it 2,000 to go. Kagawa made the call and they saw a flop of {2-Hearts}

.

Winston checked the action over to Kagawa who fired 3,000 into the middle. Winston goes into the tank and eventually folds saying "I had kings!".

Kagawa has taken an early chip lead in this tight contest.

Jeff Garza Levels At 1-1

Garza reclaimed the chip lead when his {A-Diamonds}

turned two pair against the middle pair of Nguyen.

This hand left Nguyen with around 4,000 chips and he was happy to put them in the middle holding {7-Hearts}

against Garza's {A-Spades}

. The board ran out {5-Diamonds}

and Garza spiked a jack to pair up and take down the second match to level their series at 1-1.
