What Is the Bounty Event?

Every player starts with 5,000 in chips. Blind levels are 50 minutes.

1. Players have twenty seconds to act.

2. Each starting table will have one bounty player. If you bust the bounty player, you win $1,000 in cash.

3. Round one will last until there are 32 players remaining.

4. Players will carry over their chips from Round 1 into Round 2. They will be seated at four tables and seeded according to the size of their chip stacks.

5. Round 2 will be a shootout format. When two players remain at each of the four tables, they will advance to the final table.

6. The final table is eight-handed and players will recieve an equal number of 40-second time extensions. Levels are 60 minutes long. The final table will be played out starting at 4 p.m. local time tomorrow.

Michael Vartan = No Bounty

I wandered up to Michael Vartan and asked him if he was a bounty player. he said that they asked him to be one, but he respectfully declined.

"I already have too much shit to deal with," he joked. "I don't need to give them more incentive to knock me out."
