An Orbit with the Big Stacks
After our last chip count update for Table 4, we thought it prudent to stick around and see if there was any action between the big stacks, some of whom have close to double the average. We had to be patient, but in the end...well, read for yourself
Hand 1: Malcolm Traynor opened to 11,000 and took down the blinds and antes.
Hand 2: Zelig Otter opened to 10,000. David Sebesfi defended his big blind and check-folded on J♠J♣5♦
Hand 3: Joshua McSwiney opened to 11,000 from under the gun. Robert Hill defended his big blind and check-folded on Q♠J♣6♣

Hand 5: David Sebesfi opened from the cutoff to 10,000. Malcolm Traynor defended his big blind and check-folded on 9♣9♥Q♠
Hand 6: Jacque Ramsden opened from under the gun. Joshua McSwiney called on the button and Malcolm Traynor called in the small blind. The flop was A♦7♥5♠. It checked to McSwiney who bet 8,000. Traynor was the only caller.
The pair checked the 7♦ turn and Traynor bet 28,000 on the 6♥ river. McSwiney instantly folded.
Hand 7: Higor Seibel opened to 10,000. David Sebesfi called. Jacque Ramsden raised to 45,000 from the big blind and got two folds.
Hand 8: Joshua McSwiney limped in the hijack. Malcolm Traynor raised to 15,000 from the cutoff. McSwiney called and the pair checked the Q♠10♥9♠ flop.
The turn was the 7♠. McSwiney bet 10,500 and Traynor called. The river was the 6♥. McSwiney shoved for 48,000 and Traynor called.
Joshua McSwiney: K♠J♥
Malcoml Traynor: 8♣8♦
Both players had made straights, but McSwiney had flopped the nut straight and doubled up.
