Sue Sends Kwan Packing

Blinds: 2,000/4,000/4,000

Jon-Peter Rounce Sue shoved on the button and a short-stacked Robert Kwan deliberated a bit before committing his last 40,000 into the middle.

Robert Kwan: 109All in
Jon-Peter Rounce Sue: A7

Kwan would need some help to double up and survive, but the K376K runout paired neither player — leaving Sue best with his ace to finish Kwan off.

Just one match remains in round two between Tom Mcguire and Joseph Antar, where Antar is trailing Mcguire by 2:1.

Bono, White, and Marsland All Advance to Round of Eight

Blinds: 1,500/3,000/3,000

Ricardo Bono limped on the button and Yongjia Lin checked his option in the big blind.

Lin proceeded to check-call Bono down on every street — first for 3,000 on the 933 flop, then for 10,500 on the J turn, and finally for about 30,000 all in on the 4 river.

Bono tabled K3 for flopped trips, which was best against the 92 of Lin for two pair to win the match.

Meanwhile, both Dale Marsland and Andrew White advanced over Keegan Paterson and Craig Blight, respectively.

Lin Down to His Last Bullet

Blinds: 1,000/2,000/2,000

It's been a largely one-sided match between Yongjia Lin and Ricardo Bono so far, with Bono getting the best of it.

In a recent hand, Yongjia Lin raised to 4,000 on the button and Ricardo Bono shoved. Lin called all in for approximately 40,000 with one bullet behind and Bono called to put Lin at risk.

Yongjia Lin: 66All in
Ricardo Bono: QJ

Lin preemptively grabbed his final bullet placard before the dealer brought a board of KK10A9 — improving Bono to Broadway and confirming Lin's need to use his final bullet.
