Gan Doubles Through Uka

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Uno Uka opened to 3,000 from middle position and was three-bet to 8,000 by Daniel Gan on the button. Action folded back to Uka, who made it 28,000 to go. Gan responded with a shove for 41,500 total and Uka quickly called to put Gan at risk.

Daniel Gan: AQAll in
Uno Uka: JJ

The 2210 flop looked bleak for Gan, but the A turn vaulted him into the lead with aces-up.

Gan improved to aces-full on the A river and he was awarded the double up.

Second Break

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The field is currently up to 224 entrants, which means the A$1,500,000 guarantee has been met with a few more levels of late-registration left.

Kee Sends Zhu Out With Aces

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Hai Kee had already opened from under the gun and was faced with a shove for 24,500 from Wei Zhu, who was on the button. Kee called to put Zhu at risk and a showdown was held.

Wei Zhu: 88All in
Hai Kee: AA

Zhu stood up upon seeing the bad news, and the 57J104 runout kept Kee's aces best for the elimination.

Singh Sinks Marsland

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dale Marsland opened on the button and Geetinder Singh defended his big blind.

Singh led out for 4,000 on the 746 flop and Marsland responded by shoving for approximately 17,000 total. Singh verified the amount and stuck in a call to put Marsland at risk.

Dale Marsland: KKAll in
Geetinder Singh: J5

Marsland held the lead with his Cowboys, but would need to fade the open-ended straight draw of Singh.

The dealer brought the 8 on the turn — filling Singh's straight and leaving Marsland drawing to a chop.

It wasn't Marsland's day, however, as the A river bricked out and he was sent to the rail.

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Johan Lees opened to 2,400 on the button and was called by Robert Hill in the big blind.

Hill check-called a 1,400 bet from Lees on the 9A9 flop and both players checked on the 2 turn.

Hill took the initiative with a 5,000 bet after the 8 filled the river and Lees didn't take long to toss his hand into the muck.

Uno Uka
Uno Uka

Zihao Chen opened to 2,500 first to act and was called by Uno Uka on the button and the player in the big blind.

It was checked to Chen, who continued for 5,000 on the 7Q7 flop. Uno Uka raised to 12,000 and the big blind shoved for their last 28,000. Chen also went all in and Uka called all in for approximately 60,000 for a three-way showdown.

Big blind: J7All in
Uno Uka: 76All in
Zihao Chen: KK

Uka found himself out-kicked with his trips, but the 6 turn filled Uka up to take a commanding lead in the hand.

The 4 river changed nothing and Uka doubled through Chen while also collected the rest of the big blind's chips.
