Demlakian Trips Liu Out

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ling Liu had already shoved for her last 81,000 from the small blind and was called by Ken Demlakian, who was in middle position.

Ling Liu: AKAll in
Ken Demlakian: K10

Liu was in good shape to double up with Big Slick, but the 10310 flop improved Demlakian to trips to leave Liu drawing nearly dead.

The 8 turn sealed the deal, and an irrelevant 5 made Liu's elimination official.

Johan Lees

Action folded around to the blinds, where Johan Lees shoved for his last 76,000. Timon Prill took a peek at his hole cards in the big blind and looked a big pained, but stuck in a call to put Lees at risk.

Johan Lees: A8All in
Travis Endersby: Q7

The board ran out 857210 — improving both players to a pair but leaving Lees best with eights to award him the double up.

Burns Turns a Set

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

There were around 100,000 in the middle on a flop of 238 where Kahle Burns checked from the small blind and Shayne Le Roy fired 55,000 from under the gun. Burns called.

A 6 on the turn went check-check and the 5 landed on the river. Burns reached for the orange chips, worth 25,000 each, and threw five of them into the pot for a bet of 125,000. Within a second, Le Roy called.

Burns then flipped a set with 66, and Le Roy quickly mucked.

Trung Hieu Tran: KQ

Crilly held a slight lead with his ace, and the 989107 runout kept him best for the double up.

At another table, David Pham won a massive pot after getting all in with kings against aces and making a straight.

Dong Sends Xu Packing

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Nelson Dong
Nelson Dong

There were around 75,000 chips in the middle on a 482 flop when Anthony Xu checked from the big blind and Nelson Dong bet 35,000. Xu thought for some time before he cut out a raise to 80,000, and Dong moved all in! Xu had around 200,000 behind and toyed with the idea of folding, but eventually called to put himself at risk.

Anthony Xu: 108 All in
Nelson Dong: QQ

Xu almost laid his hand down but perhaps felt he was committed after his flop raise. There were some outs that could prevent Xu's elimination, but neither the 6 turn nor A river were the cards he needed, and he was eliminated.

Prill Loses the Minimum?

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Yuanting Wang opened to 18,000 from middle position and was called by Shengfeng Ma in the hijack and Timon Prill in the big blind.

Prill checked to Wang, who continued for 35,000 on the 1083 flop. Ma folded and Prill called.

Both player proceeded to check down on the Q turn and J river and Prill tabled 83 for a flopped two pair. Wang turned over QJ for a superior two pair and collected the pot.

"You lost the minimum!" a fellow tablemate told Prill.

"I win the pot if I raise flop though," Prill replied.
