Prill Dusted by Dong

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Timon Prill was all in for approximately 450,000 from the big blind against Nelson Dong, who was on the button, on a flop of A47.

Timon Prill: 109All in
Nelson Dong: A7

Prill would need a heart or running cards to make a straight against Dong's two pair, but the QJ runout kept Dong in the lead and Prill was eliminated.

Perry's Main Event Sails Away

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
John Perry
John Perry

The action folded around to John Perry in the small blind, who limped in. Paawan Bansal was in the big blind and bumped it up to 60,000, then Perry shoved for 545,000, sending Bansal into the tank.

"Why didn't I just check," muttered Bansal under his breath. After some more thinking, Bansal called.

John Perry: 44 All in
Paawan Bansal: A9

"HOLD," were the cries from Perry's rail behind him, but it wasn't looking likely after the KA3 flop gave Bansal top pair. No fours arrived on the 67 runout, and Perry's Main Event run sailed away into the distance.

Carlberg Doubles Through Jehu

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Liam Jehu opened to 40,000 from early position and action folded to Ulf Carlberg, who shoved for his last 150,000 on the button. Jehu put in a stack of chips to call and the board was run.

Ulf Carlberg: 99All in
Liam Jehu: 77

Carlberg found a great spot with his overpair, and the 5KQ410 runout provided him with a sweat-free double up.

Jaber Takes One Down

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action was picked up with around 150,000 in the middle on a AJQ5 board where Paawan Bansal checked from the big blind and Noel Jaber bet 85,000. Bansal called.

An 8 dropped on the river and again Bansal checked it over to Jaber, who continued to fire, this time for 125,000. Bansal took a bit longer with his decision but ultimately decided to fold.

Chi Gets Unlucky to Bust

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Liwei Chi was all in for his last 200,000 and Yuanting Wang put him at risk.

Liwei Chi: AQ All in
Yuanting Wang: KQ

Chi was in great shape to double up but his plan looked to be derailed as the 35K flop gave Wang top pair. A 9 on the turn did give Chi some more outs with a flush draw, but the 10 bricked off, sending him to the rail.

Kuperholz Can't Hang on Against Wang

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Yuanting Wang raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and just behind him, Ryan Kuperholz shoved for his last 200,000 on the button. It was folded back to Wang, who called to put Kuperholz at risk.

Ryan Kuperholz: A10All in
Yuanting Wang: KQ

"I got it in ahead! That's all I can ask for!" Kuperholz said while standing up from his seat.

The 975 flop gave Kuperholz a big sweat, as Wang had picked up a flush draw in addition to his live cards.

The 6 turn changed nothing, but the K landed on the river — pairing Wang's king to end Kuperholz's run in dramatic fashion.

Demlakian Back to a Milly

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kiavash Arbabi made it 40,000 to go from middle position and Ken Demlakian three-bet to 85,000 from the cutoff. It got back to Arbabi and he called.

The flop came KQ5 and Arbabi check-called a bet of 45,000 from Demlakian to the 10 turn, where both checked.

A 3 hit the river and after Arbabi checked, Demlakian fired out 135,000. Arbabi went into the tank for a while but eventually decided to fold, allowing Demlakian's stack to climb back to around a million.
