Russo Bursts the Bubble

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Paul Russo
Paul Russo

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Paul Russo checked to Nick Sims who crossed the line with 300,000 in grey chips. Russo had about 90,000 and went into the tank for about thirty seconds before announcing he called as he flipped his hand face up.

Paul Russo: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Nick Sims: {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Sims had a pair of sevens but Russo had two overcards and a flush draw. The {6-Hearts} fell on the turn changing nothing and the {3-Spades} landed on the river, bricking all of Russo's outs and he was eliminated on the bubble.

All 27 players remaining have cashed for $500 and play will continue until just 11 players have chips.

Mehrotra Hits Flop to Eliminate Guerrier

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Varun Mehrotra
Varun Mehrotra

Varun Mehrotra raised to 20,000 in the hijack and Jacques "Buzz" Guerrier three-bet jammed for about 70,000. The action folded back around to Mehrotra who took some time before making the call.

Jacques "Buzz" Guerrier: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Varun Mehrotra: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

It was a fair fight until the flop came {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}, improving Mehrotra to jacks and kings. Guerrier couldn't find one of the remaining sixes as the board completed with the {7-Hearts} on the turn and the {a-Diamonds} on the river.

Double Elimination for Siwic

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Spenser Siwic
Spenser Siwic

A player shoved for their last 11,000 under the gun and the action folded around to Spenser Siwic in the cutoff who made the call. The small blind called off her last 6,000 and the big blind called.

Both players for a potential side pot checked to the river on the {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board and the players began tabling their hands. The small blind who was all-in for the least tabled {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of nines, the under-the-gun player showed {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Siwic took down the pot with {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.
