Day 2 has come to an end in the 2022 Bar Poker Open at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas.

Wednesday's action began with 60 players and it proved to be an action-packed day with bustouts coming at an incredible speed. By the first break of the day, only 31 players remained and the field was cut in half.

Tommy Nefcy has bagged an enormous stack for the final table, which will play out on Thursday's Day 3 finale, with 10,725,000 in chips after catching some heat nearing the end of the day. Nefcy's pocket jacks eliminated Billy Hayes to make the unofficial final table.

Only a few short hands into the unofficial final table, Carlous Collins got all the chips in the middle against Nefcy with pocket fours and flopped a set. However, he ultimately lost to a runner-runner straight, putting Nefcy over the 10-million chip mark.

All eight players are guaranteed a payout of $4,915 but all eyes are on the grand prize of $37,115.
