Aaron Groover raised 140,000 in an early position and John Kelly pushed his entire 305,000 stack across the line from the cutoff. The action folded back to Groover and he took some time before sigh-calling.

John Kelly: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Aaron Groover: {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a flop of {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, improving Kelly to top pair. The {7-Clubs} fell on the turn securing the double for Kelly and the {3-Diamonds} river was just a formality.

Morey's Pocket Tens Can't Hold

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Steve Morey
Steve Morey

Steve Morey got his stack of 145,000 in the middle before the flop and it was Varun Mehrotra who had him at risk.

Steve Morey: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Varun Mehrotra: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Morey had one overcard to dodge and it was looking promising on the {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop. The {4-Diamonds} hit the turn, giving Mehrotra a flush draw to go with his overcard and the {3-Diamonds} river completed the flush, eliminating Morey from the tournament.
