Surdi made the call and the players saw a flop of Q♠J♥4♣.
Blyleven checked and Surdi elected to shove all in for his remaining 3,965,000 covering Blyleven, who made the call.
Surdi's second pair was best on the flop and the board ran out 8♥2♣ eliminating Blyleven in the process.
Brian Lermer opened from first position to 550,000 with J♣10♠ and action folded to Saverio Biancardi on the button who goes all in for his remaining 685,000 with Q♠10♦. Anthony Lundy made the call with Q♣2♥ as does Lermer.
Lundy and Lermer checked down each street on the 2♦7♦A♥6♦8♣ and Lundy's pair of twos is enough to win the pot and eliminate Biancardi in the process.
Action folded to Edward Holt in early position who raised 450,000 with A♠10♠ only to be met by a reraise all in from Jeffrey Bowden for 1,125,000 with Q♠Q♦. With the action back on Holt, he slid in a call and the dealer ran the board.
The flop came 2♠2♥4♥ and Bowden stayed in front, the turn came A♦ giving Holt a pair of aces and Bowden needed help on the river. The river came 9♣ and the pair of aces for Holt was enough to knock out Bowden and leave the table six-handed.
