Marty Biffs Cole on the River
Level 14
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
On a flop of 9♣2♣2♥ Marty Diedrich checked and Rebecca Cole shoved all in for 180,000. Cole had Diedrich covered and Diedrich sat in the tank before finally deciding to call.
Marty Diedrich: A♣5♣
Rebecca Cole: J♠2♥
Cole had flopped trip twos and Diedrich needed a club, or running cards, to survive.
The board ran out 8♥Q♣ and Diedrich improved to a flush on the river, doubling up in the process.
