Rodriguez Flops a Straight
Level 7
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Action was picked up in a three-way pot with Joseph Rodriguez in the small blind.
Rodriguez bet 3,500 on the flop reading 9♦8♣7♣ and the player in late position raised to 9,000, which only Rodriguez called.
On the turn 3♣, Rodriguez checked over to his opponent who moved all in for 16,000 and Rodriguez called.
Late position: A♣A♥
Joseph Rodriguez: 6♣5♣
The river Q♥ did not give a flush to the other player and Rodriguez' straight held up to rake in another sizeable pot.
