Chavez Doubles Through Power
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Carlos Chavez opened to 2,400 in the hijack, and Brandin Power defended his big blind to see the 5♦4♣2♠ flop.
Power checked to Chavez, who continued for 5,000. Power then check-raised by announcing all in, and Chavez committed his shorter stack.
Carlos Chavez: 10♠10♥
Brandin Power: J♣3♠
Power was unable to catch the 7♥ turn or 4♦ river, as Chavez doubled his stack shortly after joining the table.
