Fishman's Pressure Pays Off

Level 18 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jordan Fishman
Jordan Fishman

Jordan Fishman raised to 65,000 from middle position with the A10 and Brian Haughey called with the KQ. Dennis O'Hare came along with the 22 in the cutoff, Mike LaMontagne called with the Q10 in the small blind, and Steven Tabb did the same with the 67 in the big.

It was five-way action to a flop of K89 and the blinds both checked. Fishman continued for 100,000, Haughey called with top pair, and action folded back to Tabb, who called with his straight and flush draws.

On the 3 turn, Tabb checked, Fishman bet 160,000, and both his opponents called.

The A river was gin for Fishman, who made top pair. Tabb, who missed all his draws, checked and Fishman bet 240,000. Haughey opted to release and Tabb did the same to give Fishman a nice pot and push him over two million.
