Slade Edmonds limped under the gun and John Germano, who back in December bested a 396-player field to win the 2024 Bar Poker Open Florida World Championship, moved all in for 1,275,000. Action folded back to Edmonds and he quickly called.

It was a flip and the proverbial coin came down in the favor of Edmonds when the flop fell A♦4♦8♣.

Neither the 10♣ turn nor 8♠ river changed a thing and Germano hit the rail in seventh place.

That produced a quick fold from Alex, as Edmonds took over the chip lead.
