Second Chance on Tap Today at Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship
After a busy opening day of the 2026 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship, another chance awaits for players looking to bag up chips and battle for the massive prize pool this week at Golden Nugget Las Vegas.
The first two flights attracted a total of 658 entries, with the field comprised of BPO online and league seat winners from the past 12 months, along with Super League invitation winners. All players that participated in one of the opening flights are eligible to return today at 11 a.m. local time, with one last shot to chase the $100,000 guaranteed first-place prize. Players can also earn a $1,500 bonus by advancing to Day 2 more than once, with their largest stack carrying forward into the money.
Thus far, the top 34 players have clinched a place in Day 2, with another full room of hopefuls battling to join that group today. No-Limit Pub Poker Tour's Ian Auvil led the field on Day 1a1 with 1,355,000 chips, while Henry Hearns (1,070,000) bagged up the biggest stack as the only player to hit seven figures on Day 1a2.
