Vernerova Regains the Chip Lead
Level 41
: Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Tereza Vernerova opened to 5,000,000, and Ofer Tadmor called.
Tadmor led out for 7,000,000 on the 8♣4♠4♦ flop, and Vernerova made the call.
The K♠ fell on the turn, and Tadmor checked. Vernerova fired 15,000,000, only for Tadmor to snap-jam. Vernerova called just as quickly, and the cards were tabled.
Tereza Vernerova: 9♥4♣
Ofer Tadmor: K♣8♥
Vernerova had flopped trips, while Tadmor still had outs with his top two pair. However, the A♥ river changed nothing for Tadmor, allowing Vernerova to win the pot and reclaim the chip lead in the heads-up battle.
