Four players committed 1,600 apiece preflop to see the dealer bring on board. Michael Miller was first to act in the small blind and led out with a bet of 2,000. The big blind folded and under the gun called, sending action across the table to Howard Mash in the cutoff. Mash also called.

"Three players," said the dealer, spreading the turn . Miller bet another 3,200 and the under-the-gun player called again. Mash looked down at his chips and then announced he was all in for what amounted to be 17,700. Miller called all in for less and then the under-the-gun player asked for confirmation of the number before sending his cards to the muck.

John Goyette Wins The January 2021 1010XL $110 NLH Main Event

Earlier this month, bestbet Jacksonville played host to the January 2021 1010XL Main Event, which was a $110 no-limit hold’em with $110 in bounties.

The tournament attracted 307 entries, which resulted in a $26,159 prize pool paid out to the top 40 finishers. Among those to cash were Willard Cutler (38th - $144), Alexander Burgos (31st – $170), David Mitchell (24th - $229), Justin Bold (19th - $279), Richard Grant (14th - $409), and Jeffrey Harman (9th - $572).

After Nathan Amadeo exited in fifth place for $1,254, the final four players chopped it up. John Goyette of St. John’s, Florida received an extra $1 and was deemed the winner, which meant he took home the coveted trophy.

Walters Leads On All Three

There was a limped pot to that saw David Walters lead for 300 in the big blind and receive a call from the player on the button. The turn was and Walters led again, this time for 600. The player on the button called once more.

The river fell and Walters fired for a third and final time, tossing a 1,000-chip onto the felt. His opponent thought for about 20 seconds and then matched the bet, taking the hand to showdown.

There was a decent pile of chips already in the middle on a board reading and action was on Gary Herstein in the big blind. Herstein had a bet of 3,300 already out in front of him and was facing a raise to 8,500 by Hal Rotholz, who was in the cutoff.

Herstein thought for a while and eventually let his hand go. Rotholz quickly flashed one card that appeared to be a red before putting it back face down and sending his winning hand to the dealer in exchange for the pot.

Gouveia Folds Out Pupillo

Action was heads up between Nick Pupillo in the big blind and Elilton Gouveia, who was in early position with around 5,000 already in the middle on a board of . Pupillo fired out 3,000 and Gouveia called.
