Levy Takes Huge Lead After Stacking Thrift
An early position player opened to 2,500 and two players flat-called, including Gil Levy on the button. Robert Thrift, who had become the table villain through his aggressive playing style and loud table demeanor, three-bet to 29,000 from the small blind. Only Levy called.
The flop came and Thrift led all-in for around 150,000, a massive overbet from one of the biggest stacks in the room. Levy snap-called as the only player at the table with Thrift covered.

Thrift had air and Levy was far in front with top pair. The on the turn gave Levy a full house and had Thrift drawing dead headed to the on the river.
"Double up! Easy money! Finally got you!" yelled Levy, who was filming the hand and had clearly had enough of his lubricated opponent.
"Yep, you got me," Thrift said quietly as he stood up and left the table after a rollercoaster hour that saw him go from chip leader to bust.
