Brockmeier and Miller Chop a Pot with Kings

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Bryan Brockmeier found himself in a predicament after Jesse Crenan opened in early position, Brenda Miller three-bet behind him and Brockmeier then four-bet before Crenan folded and Miller five-bet all-in for around 30,000.

Brockmeier went in the tank for several minutes as he agonized over whether to call, which would require him to commit most of his stack. He eventually put in the call.

Brenda Miller: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Bryan Brockmeier: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Both players ended up having the same big hand and the flop of {8-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} gave Brockmeier a shot at a scoop with a backdoor flush draw. But the two players chopped the pot as the board finished out {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the table needled Brockmeier about his tank with Cowboys, though it was understandably a difficult spot given the action.

"It took ya that long to finally grow a couple?" the player next to Brockmeier teased.

Miller and Clement Flop the Same Full House

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante
Pete Miller
Pete Miller

In a three-way pot on a board reading {9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, Pete Miller fired a bet of 800 and Charles Clement check-called, while the player in between the folded.

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and both players checked. Clement then led out for 2,500 on the {j-Diamonds} river and his opponent raised to 7,000. Clement then re-raised all-in and his opponent quickly called.

"Did you hit the jack?" Clement asked before turning over {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flopped full house.

Miller had not hit the jack and, incredibly, showed {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for the same flopped boat as his opponent. The two players shared a laugh about the hand, but neither were probably too happy about splitting the pot after flopping such monsters.

Fourth Pair Good for Cusumano to Double

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Gabriel Cusumano was in the hijack in a three-way pot against the cutoff and button on a board of {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Cusumano fired a flop bet of 1,000 and both of his opponents called. Cusumano then checked on the {5-Diamonds} turn and the cutoff bet 5,000. The button folded and Cusumano moved all-in for 6,500.

Surprisingly, his opponent did not snap-call despite only needing to put in an additional 1,500. The opponent did eventually call.

Gabriel Cusumano: {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Opponent: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Cusumano was ahead with a pair of fours while his opponent didn't have much of anything. The river brought the {j-Hearts} and Cusumano doubled up to stay alive.

Gasparyan Takes Pot Off Well-Dressed Hughes

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

Tigran Gasparyan was on the button in a four-way pot on a flop reading {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Two players checked and Moose David Hughes bet out from the cutoff. Gasparyan raised to 6,500 and the next player to act folded, while another player flat-called to bring the action back to Hughes.

Hughes, wearing a bright button-up shirt, three gold rings and a pair of reflective sunglasses, thought through his decision for about a minute before ultimately calling.

The action checked to Gasparyan on the {8-Diamonds} turn and he fired a bet of 8,000. Both opponents folded without any resistance.
