Fiorenza Gets Away From One; Carroll Doubles Through Boas

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was heads-up with 20,000 in the pot and {8-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} on the board when Christopher Johnson bet 18,000. Toni Fiorenza immediately raised it to 42,000 and Johnson called. The turn was {q-Hearts}.

Johnson shoved the turn with Fiorenza covered and she went into the tank. It was ultimately too much and Fiorenza tossed her hand in the muck to surrender the pot.

Elsewhere in the room, Thomas Carroll was seen taking in a big double with {a-}{a-} showing, while Toby Boas was on the losing end with {a-}{k-}.

Action was heads-up with over 100,000 in the pot and {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on the board when Justin Zaki checked from early position to Joseph Carden on the button. Carden shoved with more and Zaki thought it over before he put his last 150,000 into the middle. Carden turned over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Zaki had {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

The river was {a-Spades} and no help to keep Zaki in the tournament.
