Jeffrey Stellwagon Eliminated in 17th Place ($28,334)
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Big stack Johann Ibanez opened to 125,000 but then short-stacked Jeffrey Stellwagon moved all in for 780,000. Ibanez thought for a moment before making the call to put Stellwagon at risk of elimination.
Jeffrey Stellwagon: A♦10♦
Johann Ibanez: K♦10♥
Jeffrey Stellwagon was in a great position to double up as he had his opponent dominated, but the poker gods did not agree with him as the flop came out K♥6♠K♠ to give Ibanez trip kings right out of the gate.
The turn 2♠ left Stellwagon drawing dead and the meaningless6♥ completed the board as Stellwagon headed to the payout desk in 17th place.
