Rakitzis Counterfeits Paleatsos
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Action was picked up on a flop of 3♦K♠6♣. Big blind AJ Paleatsos checked over to button player George Rakitzis, who threw out a bet of 1,100. Paleatsos check-raised to 3,100, and Rakitzis called.
Paleatsos didn't slow down, betting 2,100 on the 9♥ turn. Yet again, Rakitzis called, bringing in the 9♠ river. Action quickly went check-check, and Paleatsos tabled K♥8♦ for a counterfeited two pair. Rakitzis had rivered the winner with K♣Q♥ and collected the pot.
