Liberto Hits Three-Outer to Bust Lavin
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Justin Liberto opened to 6,000 on the button, and small blind David Pelosi stuck in a call. Big blind Michael Lavin then moved all in for 73,000, and Liberto went into the tank. Eventually, he reshoved, and Pelosi thought for a moment before folding.
Michael Lavin: A♦K♣
Justin Liberto: A♣8♦
Lavin had a commanding lead, and that didn't change on the 4♥2♥2♠ flop, although his opponent did pick up chop outs. The 6♦ turn was clean, but the 8♣ river was a brutal one, as Lavin's tournament ended early.
