A player at the table recounted to PokerNews that action folded to Justin Arnwine in the small blind, who made it 1,500 to go. Big blind Tom Wheaton opted to defend.
On a flop of Q♥9x5x Arnwine continued for 3,000, and Wheaton stuck around with a call. The K♥ peeled off on the turn, and Arnwine sized up to 7,000. Yet again, Wheaton opted to call.
The river Qx was dealt, and Arnwine opted to move all in, risking his tournament life. Wheaton made the call, and his KxQx for a full house was the winner, as Arnwine's A♥3♥ hit the muck. Arnwine has since re-entered.
Players are continuing to buy into Level 1, including BetMGM ambassador Michael Gagliano, Andrew Chang, winner of Event 2: $2200 Big, Big Kick Off, and David Stefanski, who took down Event 6: $10,200 Big, Big Baller.
Jiandong Xu opened to 700 under the gun. Evan Dunn called from middle position, and Tom Wheaton defended his big blind.
Xu continued for 500 on the J♦5♥4♦ flop, and Dunn was his only caller. He didn't slow down on the 9♦ turn, this time opting for 1,200 as his sizing. Dunn let his cards go.
Action was picked up with big blind Jiandong Xu checking over to under the gun player Carlos Vizoso on a board of J♣Q♣5♠9♦ Vizoso bet out for 800 into around 1,800, and Xu made the call.
Action swiftly went check-check on the 2♣ river, and Xu's two pair with Q♦2♥ saw him collect the pot.

Players that return for Day 2 will once again see cards in the air at 12:15 p.m., this time on September 22. Similarly to Day 1, levels are 60-minutes throughout, and play ends after ten levels. Day 3 begins at the same time on September 23, and the tournament will play down to a winner.
