It isn't over until the river, and a few players learned that today in Day 2 of the $600 Kickoff.
PokerNews' David Salituro caught a hand where Jason Simone was all in with Q♥J♥ against the A♣K♦ of Jason Nguyen. The board of 2♥4♥10♣4♦ was no help for Simone, but the A♥ river landed to give him a flush to stay alive.
Less than an hour later and there was another consequential river as Joseph Muldoon found himself all in with Q♥10♦ against Jeffrey Campbell with 10♣10♠. Like Somone, Muldoon was behind with a draw on the board of A♦K♦5♠3♦, but the J♦ river landed right on time to earn him a double up.
