Kilcoyne Counterfeits Bernui
Level 18
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Luis Nargentino raised to 25,000 in early position before David Kilcoyne three-bet to 55,000 in the cutoff. Lucas Bernui called for his last 50,000, while Nargentino got out of the way.
Lucas Bernui: K♥7♦
David Kilcoyne: A♥K♠
Bernui was dominated but took the lead on the 7♦10♣9♠ flop. The turn was the 10♠, and the 9♣ river counterfeited Bernui's pair and gave the pot to Kilcoyne with his ace-kicker to send Bernui to the rail.
