In a limped pot to the 8♣7♦6♠ flop, Vance Martin III checked and then folded to a bet of 800,000.

He then limped the button and George Grabe checked to the K♣9♦3♥ flop. They checked to the 5♥ turn and Martin III won the pot with a bet of 600,000.

Grabe limped the button and called a raise to the 8♦6♦6♥ flop on which Martin III bet 1,200,000 for the win.

Martin III raised the button to 1,800,000 to win the blinds, then Grabe did so two times in a row with a raise to 1,300,000 while receiving a walk in between to regain all of his previous losses.

A few moments later, both players agreed to adjust the payouts with $25,650 for the winner and $21,150 for the runner-up.

The K♥5♠3♠10♠5♣ board checked down to the river as Grabe check-called a bet of 600,000 from Martin, who showed A♦10♣ for the winner as Grabe flashed A♠2♦.

A couple hands later, Grabe limped the button and Martin checked.

The J♦9♦9♣J♥8♥ board checked down until the river which saw Grabe lead for 1,000,000 and Martin tank-called. Grabe showed 9♥6♠ for a full house to win.

Heads-up play started and they already built up some momentum when Vance Martin III bet the [Ks89d6cKh8c] river for 2,000,000. George Grabe pushed all-in and his opponent snap-folded.

"Really, you are trying to bluff me in the first hand?" Grabe said with a big smirk on the face.

Prior to the start, both had agreed to share the trophies with the Borgata one going to the runner-up.

They also went on a short bathroom break when the clock was running.
