Grabe Jams the Flop

Level 28 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

George Grabe lost some chips when he bet the A102 flop for 700,000 and Vance Martin III raised to 1,800,000 as he opted to fold.

He then limped the small blind and Anthony LaRocca raised to 1,500,000 for Grabe to fold.

When LaRocca limped the next button, Grabe raised to 2,300,000 and LaRocca called.

As soon as the 1087 flop arrived, Grabe moved all-in and LaRocca snap-folded.

Robert Bernstein

Anthony LaRocca limped the button and then called a raise to 1,100,000 by Robert Bernstein in the big blind.

On the 977 flop, Bernstein bet 1,000,000 for LaRocca to call and they checked the 6 turn.

After the 4 river, Bernstein checked and then reluctantly folded to a bet of 3,000,000.

After this hand, Bernstein was down to around 5,500,000 and jammed from the small blind. George Grabe peeked at both of his cards and then called.

Robert Bernstein: 77 All in
George Grabe: JJ

"Jack in the window please so there is no sweat," Grabe asked upon and his wish was granted with the J83 flop.

Bernstein was drawing dead on the 5 turn to make the A river meaningless.

Turn Win for Bernstein

Level 27 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Robert Bernstein raised to 450,000 and George Grabe flat-called in the next seat. Bernstein check-called for 200,000 on the QQ3 flop and checked the 2 turn. Grabe bet another 375,000 and then folded to a check-raise to 1,000,000 claiming in table chat he made a "very tough laydown" and that he had ace-king.

"Queen six," Bernstein replied and both chuckled.

Grabe then jammed into Anthony LaRocca before his raise thereafter found no caller either.

"That's bad news for you guys. There is no shame in finishing second or third," Grabe exclaimed.
