Demetrios Georgous - 21st Place
Demetrios Georgous - 21st Place

Demetrious Georgous opened for a raise in late position, Matthew Itkin called from the big blind, and the flop came down {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. The money went in the middle, and the cards went on their backs.

Georgous: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Itkin: {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Both the turn and river were fours ({4-Diamonds} and {4-Clubs}), and Georgous was eliminated.

Tim Mullen

Stephanie Hubbard raised to 200,000 and Tim Mullen moved all in for 815,000 total. It was folded back to Stephanie who made the call after getting an exact count. Hubbard had {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and was ahead of Mullen's {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Mullen took the lead on a {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. "Cinco," said one of Hubbard's friends on the rail. The dealer obliged putting out a {5-Spades} causing Stephanie's rail to let out a "Woooooooo!"

The river was the {3-Hearts} and Mullen is eliminated in 22nd place.

Dmitriy Khavko Eliminated in 23rd Place ($5,299)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Dmitriy Khavko
Dmitriy Khavko

Dmitriy Khavko opened to 300,000 and Mikhail Mironenko having Khavko easily covered moved all in. Dmitriy made the call for his last 550,000 in chips and turned over {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Mikhail had a monster, {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, and Khavko was going to need a miracle to stay alive.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} giving Dmitriy no help. The turn was the {10-Clubs} giving him a sliver of hope but the {2-Diamonds} on the river sealed his fate and he is eliminated in 23rd place. Mikhail moves into the chip lead with that pot.

Trevor Deeter Eliminated in 24th Place ($5,299)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Carlos Alvarado opened to 205,000 and Trevor Deeter moved all in for 275K more, a total of 480K. It was folded back to Carlos who made the call with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Trevor would need some help with his {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Deeter finishes in 24th place.

Michael Klein - 25th Place

Michael Klein moved all in for 600,000 on a flop of {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and was called by Kim Noun. Noun showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair and a straight draw, and Klein was drawing with {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for two overs and a flush draw.

Neither the turn ({j-Clubs}) or the river ({2-Spades}) improved Klein, however, and he was eliminated in 25th place. Noun is up to 3.05 million.

Tran Playing Big Pots

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hieu Tran has been unafraid to play in big pots all day, and his fearlessness is carrying into the night.

He recently played two million-chip pots, one against Sergei Rylkov and the other against Yevgeni Rapoport.

In the first hand, he and Rylkov were heads up on a board of {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Tran fired 325,000 into a pot of 800,000, Rylkov called, and both players checked when the river brought the {6-Spades}. Rylkov showed {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, and won the pot.

A few hands later, there was another million in the middle on a board of {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Tran fired out 800,000, and Rapoport went deep into the tank. The clock was called, and eventually Rapoport folded.

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Cohen: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Cohen's kings held as the board ran out {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}, and Rothman was eliminated in 26th place.
