Break/Some Chip Counts

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Players are on a 15-minute break. Here are some chip counts of players currently playing.

Bob Link Flops It

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

We get over to a table and see a ton of chips in the middle of the table and a flop that shows {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Three players are all in. The shortest stack of the three has {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and had to be feeling good until he saw the other two hands he was up against. Matt Salbserg had {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for flopped middle set but even he was behind Bob Link who had flopped the world with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Link could still lose the hand if the board paired. The turn was the {6-Clubs} changing nothing. The river improved Link's hand, giving him a flush, as it was the {K-Diamonds}. The player with Aces was eliminated and Salsberg was crippled. He would bust and re-enter moments later.

Mckeehen Makes a Straight

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Joe Mckeehen had 4,000 in front of him on a flop of {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and his opponent had 1,500. The player then moved all in for effectively 15,000 or so, Mckeehen called, and the hands were tabled.

Mckeehen: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Mckeehen didn't make his flush draw, but the turn and river came {5-Spades}, {3-Spades} respectively to give him a straight. He doubled to around 40,000 chips.
