A Few Counts

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Lind Leaves

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Kenneth Lind - Peace!
Kenneth Lind - Peace!

Kenneth Lind three-bet shoved all in from the blinds with {8-}{8-}, and was racing against the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} of "Action" Bob Hwang.

The {q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop pushed Hwang into the lead, the {k-Diamonds} on the turn gave him trips, and the {4-Clubs} on the river put a theoretical nail in Lind's tournament coffin.

On an adjacent table, Shawn Busse was also eliminated.

Zaydman Fades Pandya; Doubles into Chip Lead

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Elliott Zaydman raised to 6,000 from under the gun, Ketan Pandya three-bet to 14,200 on the button, and a third player cold-called in the small blind. Zaydman called as well.

The dealer fanned {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, both the player in the small blind and Zaydman checked, and Pandya fired out 18,100. The player in the small blind folded, Zaydman check-raised to 38,100, and Pandya responded with a re-raise to 138,100.

Zaydman asked the dealer to pull the bets in, and then moved all in for an additional 48,600. Pandya snap-called.

Pandya: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Zaydman: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

"Round two," Pandya joked, referring to an earlier hand where he eliminated Alan Jackson with a flush draw against a flopped set.

Pandya was not so fortunate this time - the turn and river bricked {4-Spades}, {3-Hearts} respectively - and Zaydman was pushed a wave of multi-colored chips.

He doubled to over 400,000 chips, while Pandya fell to 73,000.

Block Busts

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Keith Block moved all in out of the small blind, and Robert Portas looked him up in the big blind.

Block: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Portas: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Block was in very rough shape, and failed to improve as the flop, turn, and river came {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Jackson Busts

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Alan Jackson was all in and at risk with {9-}{9-} on a flop with a nine and two hearts. His opponent, Ketan Pandya, held {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and the turn was a heart.

Jackson failed to fill up on the turn, and hit the rail.

Huge Double for Cohen

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Mike Cohen doubles
Mike Cohen doubles

Kenneth Lind fired out a pot-sized bet of 15,000 on a flop of {q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, Mike Cohen raised to 45,000, and Lind made the call.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, Lind instantly moved all in for effectively 94,900, and Cohen snap-called.

Lind: {q-Spades}{2-Spades}
Cohen: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {a-Hearts} bricked off on the river, and Cohen doubled to 295,000 chips. Lind slipped to 35,000.

Tuthill and Giannetti Bust

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Matt Giannetti - Eliminated
Matt Giannetti - Eliminated

Right before break, we lost Matt Giannetti and David Tuthill here in Event 11: $1,090 $100,000 Guaranteed Six-Max NLHE Reentry.

Tuthill was all in and at risk with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} preflop, and unfortunately for him, Elliott Zaydman had him dominated with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

"That's the only way they can get me," Tuthill said, standing up.

He was unable to bink a two-outer or run down a straight or flush as the board came {3-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}, and he was eliminated.

While this was going down, Giannetti was racing against Kenneth Lind. Giannetti raised to 4,000 in early position, Greg Jensen three-bet to 14,000 on the button, and Lind moved all in for 72,700. Giannetti called all in for slightly less, and Jensen folded.

Giannetti: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Lind: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} board didn't improve the 2011 WSOP November Niner's hand, and he hit the rail.
