Day 1 of Event 11: $1,090 $100,000 Guaranteed Six-Max NLHE Reentry is in the books, and leading the 23 remaining players is Elliott Zaydman. Zaydman, who has $212,364 in career lifetime earnings, won a massive, 400,000-chip pot against Ketan Pandya in Level 14. Zaydman flopped a set of sixes, Pandya held an ace-high flush draw, and Zaydman faded a diamond on both the turn and the river.

Zaydman finished the day with 402,100 chips, and was the only player to bag more than 300,000. His closest competitors entering Day 2 will be Frank Bonaco (297,500), Kevin Saul (273,400), and Jeff Madsen (255,400).

Also among the final 23 players are Alex Rocha (223,900), Justin Young (174,200), and "Action" Bob Hwang (140,400). Hwang's largest cash came here at Borgata, when he finished fifth in the WPT Borgata Poker Open for $299,730, while Young, who has over $3.2 million in career live tournament earnings, is searching for his first cash at this venue.

Five of the returning players will walk away empty-handed, and the top 18 players will receive a minimum of $1,862. The winner of this 192-player event will earn $52,150, along with the hardware.

Several notable players were unable to survive Day 1 of Event 11, including Eric Baldwin, Mike Leah, Keven Stammen, Matt Giannetti, David Tuthill, Dan Wach, and Ravi Raghavan. Tuthill ran {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} into Zaydman's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} in Level 14, while Wach was unable to hit flush and straight draws against Sean Wallace's pocket aces.

Day 2 will begin at noon on Saturday, and end when a champion is crowned. Be sure to return for exclusive live updates straight from the tournament floor from PokerNews!

Ketan KO'd

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

On one of the last hands of the evening, Ketan Pandya was all in and at risk for around 51,000 on a board of {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{k-Hearts}. He turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}, but he was drawing dead against the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Yuval Harosh.

A meaningless {6-Spades} completed the board, and Pandya hit the rail.

Day Complete

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

The clock has hit triple zeros, and the day is over. We will be back with one last bust out, full counts, and a recap!

Adams Folds River

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Justin Adams opened to 6,900 in the cutoff, Justin Young three-bet to 17,000 from the small blind, and Adams came along for the ride.

The dealer spread a flop of {8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, Young led out for 15,500, and Adams called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}, the pair checked, and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board. Young led out, dropping 27,500 in front of him, and Adams went into the tank.

After a minute or so Adams slide his cards forward into the muck, and Young checked his cards one last time before releasing them and dragging the pot.

In Da Club(s)

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Jeff Madsen and Justin Adams were heads up on a board of [6c5s6h4], and Adams check-called a bet of 13,100.

The river was the {k-Clubs}, Adams checked again, and the three-time WSOP bracelet winner fired out 23,200.

"Worst card in the deck," we heard Adams say.

He mulled the decision over for the better part of two minutes before calling, and Madsen reveled {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a rivered flush.

Zaydman vs. Pandya Part II

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

After a series of bets and raises on a board of {k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Ketan Pandya and Elliott Zaydman were once again entangled in an all-in pot.

Pandya: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Zaydman: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Zaydman turned Broadway, and was in great shape to eliminate Pandya, but the {q-Diamonds} spiked on the river, pairing the board and giving Pandya a full house.

He doubled to 145,000 chips, and Zaydman dropped down to 370,000.
