Every local tournament series has its cast of characters, with local grinders making a splash on their home turf while turning heads in the process.
Emad Alabsi has been one of the stars to emerge from the Borgata Spring Poker Open, making multiple deep runs, two final tables, and winning Event 8 for $12,629 in his first crack at pot-limit Omaha.
Along the way Alabsi has been lively and loud, singing Bob Marley's classic "Jammin'" while happily moving his chips into the middle.
Alabsi has been accompanied by his good friend Elia Ahmadian during his romp through the series, and today both are in the house for the WPT World Championship, sitting next to one another at two separate tables. We'll be sure to let you know when Alabsi or Ahmadian start jammin', so stay tuned.
