Glantz Doesn't Give One Up

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

With approximately 12,000 in the pot and the board showing {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Guillaume Darcourt bet 5,400 and was raised by Matt Glantz to 12,500. The one other player in the middle of the two folded and after a few moments of contemplation, Darcourt made the call.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and the pink-haired Darcourt checked. Glantz did not think long before announcing that he was all in. Darcourt would take a bit longer before making his decision, taking his headphones off and pushing his glasses up while he mulled it over, but would in the end decide to err on the side of caution and fold.

Count Your Blessings

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Some are building while others have dipped below their starting stacks. Check out the score:

Kuether Takes from Madsen

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Joe Kuether checked to three-time WSOP bracelet winner Jeff Madsen on a board of {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Madsen tossed out a half-pot bet of 1,600, Kuether called, and the river was a repeat jack - the {j-Hearts}.

Kuether knuckled again, and Madsen reached for chips.

"Forty-two," he announced, flipping a grey T5,000 chip into the pot.

Kuether assembled enough chips to make the call, committed them, and Madsen revealed {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for just ace-high. Kuether tabled {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a winning pair of tens, and dragged in the pot.

Glantz Gives it Up

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

The board read {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} when we caught Matt Glantz contesting a heads-up pot from the small blind position.

The longtime pro fired out a bet of 1,200 and his opponent studied for a moment before raising to 3,500. Glantz came along with a smooth call and the river came down {5-Spades}. He tapped the table, only to see his opponent flick out a bet of 15,000, which was right around a pot-sized bet.

The pressure play worked its magic and Glants released, living to fight another day in this extremely deep structure.

Britain's own Chris Moorman just rocked up to the Signature Room at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa for the WPT World Championship. Moorman booked his first major live victory earlier in Season XII, etching his name on the Champions Cup in the L.A. Poker Classic Main Event.

Moorman defeated Glenn Lafaye heads up to earn just over $1 million, including a seat in this event. Also reaching the official WPT final table were Michael Rocco and WSOP bracelet winner Adam Friedman.

Wong Moving in the Right Direction

She Lok Wong
She Lok Wong

She Lok Wong has been a familiar face here over the past two weeks with several deep runs to his name. A month ago, he took first place at the Foxwoods Poker Classic Championship Event for $95,000. Back in November of 2013, he took 2nd in the Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship Event for $203,394.

"Have to try," Wong said, as he explained why he was sitting down with the big guns, after raking a pot where he raised Jean "Prince" Gaspard to 12,100 after Gaspard bet 4,200 on a {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Gaspard would fold and Wong would take the pot to get his day started off on the right foot.
