Robert Parker Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,998)

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Robert Parker
Robert Parker

With the board showing {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} Robert Parker moved all in with {10-}{9-} and was snap-called by Zo Karim who had turned the straight with {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Parker could still chop with a river King but it was not to be and he was eliminated in 6th place.

Stan Annis Doubles Up

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Parker raised to 30,000 from under the gun and both Stan Annis and Dan Heimiller called out of the blinds. The flop came {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Annis moved all in for 106,000. Heimiller folded and now the decision was on Parker.

"You get the Ace?" he asked Annis.

Nothing came from Annis. He stared straight ahead, silent.

After about a minute, Parker decided to make the call with {K-Clubs}[Ks. Annis had indeed hit the Ace with his {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river was the {7-Spades} and Annis doubled up to 310,000 while Parker takes a dip down to 215,000.
